I bought this frame bag sling because my previous frame bag got stolen and I like the capacity, plus the ease of taking this on/off my bike. I just took it on a 250 mile ride from Boston to Rockland, Maine and it held up really well! Excited to see how the waxed canvas ages.
I like it a lot.
As for materials and build quality the sling is awesome.
There’s a lot of space inside same time it does not look big.
Definitely not roomy enough to feet laptop and tablet, but that is seems not appropriate use case.
I care there pump, multitool couple of inner tubes andwaterproof jacket and there still some place left.
This bag is the perfect frame bag for me.
I keep some tools, an extra pair of sunnies, sunscreen, some random snack, wired earbuds in there and it all fits in the small pocket. The big pocket usually has my u-lock and the left side pocket can carry a scarf I took off because I warmed up riding or an extra water bottle.
All of it is so accessible, and I can tell thought went into it e.g. with the double zipper on the large zippered pocket.
The looks are a 10/10. I've gotten multiple compliments on my setup that called out the bag specifically. I love the waxed canvas look, it blends in perfectly with any vintagy bike.
Versatility is also excellent. I use this bag for touring / bikepacking, long rides on the lakefront and even date nights or dinner around the city.
You can tell love went into making the product. I purchased the sling bag and it's even better than expected!
The color looks even better in person, and the size is perfect! Definitely will be purchasing more products in the future!
The Sling bag is excellent. This is the exact kind of bike bag I've been looking for over the past several years and I love being able to utilize my front triangle space. I live in a big city and never leave any gear on my bike when it's unattended. I'm all about bags I can easily take on and off my bike. Chrome's DoubleTrack was way too narrow/small for my taste and the Rapha Mini Messenger was clunky and I didn't like the design. I have a few traditional bikepacking/day-ride frame bags, but they're either a pain to take off and on or they're designed for longer term fixed attachment, and none of them are designed for off-bike carrying.
The Garner and Tow Sling is my ideal. It fits all the same gear I typically carry in my 7L Osprey hip pack, but with the bonus that my bike's carrying it instead of me. It's easy to access pockets while riding and looks like a "normal" bag off the bike. Love how well it works whether it's mounted on the bike or on my shoulder.
